  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onions, carrots, and celery. Measure out the chicken broth and spices.
  • In the crock pot, combine the chicken, chicken broth, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to mix, then cover and set the slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the frozen peas and cream of chicken soup. Break apart the biscuit dough into pieces and scatter over the top.
  • Once the dumplings are cooked through, gently mix them into the chicken mixture. Serve in bowls garnished with fresh parsley.
